Utility Frenzy, version 1.0.0 (build 3)

Effective October 25, 2026

This policy describes Utility Frenzy version 1.0.0, build 3. That is the current release. It explains what stays on your device, when the app contacts another service, and how you can delete information.

Utility Frenzy is a calculator and planning app. In this release, information you enter stays on your device. The developer does not receive a copy of it.

This page may be updated when the app’s features change. A later version can behave differently. If it does, the date at the top of this page will change, and the page will describe that version.

Information stored on your device

When you choose to save something, this release keeps it in the app’s private storage on that device. That can include:

The AI Helper in this release works on the device. A request you type is not sent anywhere and is not stored. If you save a result, that saved result stays on the device with your other entries.

Copying a plan, a history, or receipts places that text on the device clipboard. The clipboard is controlled by the device.

Health information

Health and fitness calculators run on the device. They do not use the internet, and they do not diagnose a condition or give medical advice.

Health Profile

A Health Profile is saved only if you choose to save one. It can include sex, age, height, weight, waist, neck, hip, resting heart rate, and your choice of metric or US units. It is stored on the device with the app’s other saved entries. You can clear it from the Health Profile screen.

Health history

Dated measurements in the Advanced Health Profile are saved only when you tap Save. They can include weight, waist, hip, neck, height, and resting heart rate. They are encrypted on the device. The key stays on that device. You can delete one entry, or all of them, from the app, including after a plan ends.

Health information is not included in usage statistics. This release does not send usage statistics at all. That is described under Usage statistics.

Financial records, receipts, and photos

Debts, net-worth accounts, and dated net-worth totals are saved on the device only when you add them. You can delete them in the app, including after a plan ends.

Photo Text Scanner, Receipt Scanner, and Scan and Solve read text on the device with Google ML Kit. The camera is used only when you tap Take photo. Choosing a photo opens the system photo picker, so the app receives the photo you pick.

A receipt or scanned text is saved only if you tap Save. A receipt photo is kept only if you turn on keeping the photo. Saved receipts and kept photos stay in the app’s private storage. You can delete them from the receipt. Working copies are removed when you leave the tool. Receipt contents and scanned text are not included in usage statistics.

The barcode scanner uses the camera only while that scanner is open. Those images are handled on the device and are not saved by the app.

Device backups

If backup is turned on for the phone, the phone’s own backup can include data this app stores. On Android that can be Auto Backup to a Google account. On iPhone that can be iCloud Backup. A backup can include a saved Health Profile, saved receipts, receipt photos you kept, saved debts, and net-worth data.

The app asks Android to leave the encrypted Advanced Health Profile history, and the key for that history, out of Android backups and phone-to-phone transfers. On iPhone, that history is stored as a Keychain item for that device. A backup can still include a note that history was saved, without the measurements, so the app can tell you if the history is missing after a restore.

Google or Apple store those backups under your account. The developer of Utility Frenzy does not receive them. To leave a Health Profile out of future backups, clear it in the app or turn off backups for this app in the phone’s settings.

When this release uses the internet

Most tools in this release work offline. This release contacts another service in these cases:

Services this release can contact
Service When What is sent
Frankfurter, at api.frankfurter.dev You use the currency converter The two currency codes you picked. The connection also reveals the device’s IP address to that service, as any request over the internet does. Amounts you type are not sent.
Google ML Kit You use the barcode scanner or a photo tool Photos and recognized text stay on the device. ML Kit may contact Google to check for updates and to send performance and usage information about the recognition feature itself.
Google or Apple Device backup is on The phone may copy on-device app data into your Google or Apple backup, as described under Device backups.

Those services have their own privacy practices. This policy describes what Utility Frenzy sends. It does not control what the other service does after it receives a request.

Usage statistics

This release does not collect or send usage statistics. It was built with usage statistics turned off. It does not ask you to allow them. Settings explains that they are not available in this version.

A build where usage statistics are configured

The app can be built so that optional usage statistics are available. Version 1.0.0 build 3 is not that kind of build. If a later public version turns them on, this policy will be updated to say so.

In a build where usage statistics are configured, sharing stays off until you allow it. The app asks once, after the welcome tour. You can also turn on “Share anonymous usage statistics” in Settings, under Privacy & data. If you do not allow it, nothing is recorded for that purpose. If the choice cannot be saved on the device, sharing stays off.

If you allow it, that build can send anonymous usage statistics to PostHog. They can include which tools and features you open, where you opened them from, which search result you picked, favorite changes, comparison type and option count, calculator-chain completion, reaching a locked tool or free-plan limit, your plan name, subscription and rewarded-ad outcomes, the app version, the platform, and whether the build is a test or production build. They are sent under a random ID stored on the device. That ID changes when you turn sharing back on. The events also ask PostHog not to derive a location from the IP address and not to build a person profile. The connection still reveals the device’s IP address to PostHog.

Those statistics are written so they do not include what you type, search for, or save, health or finance values, your name or email, payment details, advertising IDs, contacts, photos, or your location. They wait in memory until they are sent. They are not saved as a file of events on the device. Turning sharing off stops recording and discards statistics that have not been sent. A request the service has already received cannot be recalled.

The choice and the random ID, in a build where this is configured, are kept on the device in a location Android and iOS document as left out of device backups.

Accounts, ads, and subscriptions

This release has no accounts. You cannot sign in. It does not contact an account service. Account software is included in the app package and is not started.

This release does not request or show ads. Advertising software from Google is included in the app package and is not started.

Silver and Pro Frenzy subscriptions are not on sale in this release. This release does not contact Google Play, the App Store, or the subscription service Qonversion to sell or check a subscription. Subscription software is included in the app package and is not started. The app does not see payment card numbers, because this release does not take a payment.

If a later version offers accounts, ads, or subscriptions, this policy will be updated before that version is the one this page describes. Subscription terms, including price, renewal, and cancellation, are not published here, because those plans are not on sale in this release.

How long information stays

Information you save in the app remains on the device until you delete it in the app or uninstall Utility Frenzy. The developer does not keep a separate copy, because this release does not send that information to the developer.

A phone backup can keep a copy after you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. Removing that copy is done in the Google or Apple account that holds the backup.

This policy does not set a retention period for Frankfurter, Google ML Kit, Google, or Apple. Those services are not operated as part of Utility Frenzy.

Deleting information

You can delete an item inside the app. You can clear a Health Profile from the Health Profile screen, delete health-history entries, and delete a saved receipt and its photo from the receipt.

Uninstalling Utility Frenzy removes what the app stored on that device.

Writing to the contact address below does not delete information that exists only on your device. The developer has no account database and no server copy of your entries to erase. Backup copies, if any, are deleted through the account that stores the backup.

Security

Saved entries are kept in the app’s private storage on the device. Advanced Health Profile history is encrypted on the device, with a key that stays on that device. The Health Profile, financial records, receipts, and other saved entries are stored on the device and are not described here as being in that encrypted store.

Protection is limited to the device. Someone who can unlock the device, a backup of the device, or a restored copy can reach information the backup includes. The developer cannot promise that a lost, stolen, or unlocked device will keep the information private. Clearing the Health Profile, deleting entries, or turning off app backup in the phone’s settings reduces what a later backup can contain.

Children

Utility Frenzy is not a children’s app, and it is not designed for children. It does not offer an account, and it does not ask the person’s age. Anyone who can use the device can type information into it, including health measurements.

A parent or guardian can delete information in the app or uninstall the app. They can also send a question to the contact address below. This policy does not say that the app checks who is using the device.

Changes to this policy

This policy describes version 1.0.0, build 3. It may be replaced when features change, including if a later release turns on usage statistics, accounts, ads, or subscriptions. The effective date will change with the text. The copy shown inside the app is the copy built into that version. This page is the public policy for the release named above.
